Try to be around him as much as you can and he may reveal that he likes you.If you decide to tell him make sure he likes you because if he doesn't your friendship probably will not survive.If I was you I would wait just a bit longer before I ask him.

let it slide that you really like him somehow, like through friends of friends so he finds out. then wait to see if he asks you out. if he doesnt, then maybe ask him out?
