there is no actual evidence to show that adam had any other wife except eve. The bible states that eve was made from adam's rib.
Even if you dont believe the bible there is still no evidence to prove that any other woman existed. While maybe evolution could have been the ultimate cause it does make since to have a single source of parents. Or otherwise you give credence to racists. I would say however that the middle east would seem to be a more logical spot for man's beginning than africa. (I am not racist) It just seems to me that with the sumerian culture having been the first to have developed writing it seems like that could have been the logical spot for man to have evolved. You could still have one couple being the "ancestors" to the world. email me if you want to know more about my theory.

How do You know what God was or is? Why would God *need* a gender at all? Also you say 'Man was created last', then 'Adam came before Eve' IN THE SAME paragraph. At least try to make some sort of sense.
The companion before Eve is usually believed to be called Lilith.
If Adam coming before Eve makes him more significant, does that mean that the animals and plants are more significant that Adam?

The first female was Eve. It's not a different woman. It's not two different accounts or two different time periods in the Bible. It is the same events, but the second account is just more detailed. Adam and Eve were the first and Eve came from Adams side. God removed a rib. She was created from his side, not his foot to be trod on, but his side. She is his help mate.
The two come together as one. Neither is complete without the other. God created man and woman differently so that when they come together in marriage they form something more akin to God. He is complete and we are when we join in marriage.
Wouldn't say Adam is more significant because the human race couldn't exist without Eve. Each male and female has their roles in God's design. Both equally important in creating the balance that God wishes for us. All things are made better when a man and a woman each bring their characteristics, personalities, talents, and perspectives to the table. It is God's perfect design.
Quit trying to dominate. It throws God's design off balance.

Eve was the first female companion(Gnostic books speak of another companion), She was created through Adams rib, God put Adam too sleep took one of his ribs then used it to make Eve.
Adam is not above Eve.
God made Eve not of Adam's head to be above him, Nor from Adam's foot to be stepped upon by Adam. But from his side, that way they would be equal.

What weirdo are you talking too? Adam didn't have a companion before Eve. Eve was made from Adam's rib.. she came OUT OF MAN... HENCE the name WO-MAN. On a side note it is neat that the floating rib if removed (and the surrounding skin is left attached)...will grow back.

The name was supposedly Lilith. It's not part of the Bible story of Adam and Eve. Eve was created from Adam's rib according to that story.
I do hope you are merely stating this and not also agreeing with it.

Remember in Genesis, that Eve came into existence when God put Adam to sleep. I think you might be missing the point that Adam and Eve are sybolic of Christ and the Church. The Church has always been referred to symbolically as a woman. Let me put it this way, Adam fell asleep and God took a part of him out of his side and it became his bride. Likewise, when Jesus Christ died on the Cross He fell asleep. They came and pierced His side. Water and blood came out siginifying that He was dead. It was at this point that the Church was born.

Alright... that is a complex Q. Lilith was Adam's first wife... but that was stricken from the bible. She is now the devils whore/wife. Because Lilith wouldn't kiss Adam's ***, she was cast out of eden. Even was then created from Adam's rib so that she would be obedient to him (since he was her master because he was her creator in essence). Then Eve screwed Adam over by tricking him into eating the apple. Now we all die.

Adam was created in Gods' image, and Eve was made from Adams' rib. There is a fable(?) that Lillith was Adams' first wife (not from his own body), and she would not subject herself to Adams' authority and was banished.

Have you ever heard of the Bible? The Bible is the Encyclopaedia of Ancient History, though generally centering around Israel, we also learn of Ancient nations, like the Moabites, Hittites, ect..., and advanced civilizations such as Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persian empire, Greeks, Romans, ect...
Your question is full of much unfounded speculation; unfounded speculation can come up with anything or any kind of fiction.
My answer is read the first few chapters of the Bible, which is the first few chapter of Genesis, there you will find the best answer.
