i am very much into bicycling, and pro mountain biking, but i am NOT going to college to play sports, i am going to culinary school. and i have talked to the admissions rep and he said that i have a very good chance of getting in, my only problem is paying for it.

check with the school you want to go to, they probably offer several scholarships. Also checkout scholarship websites like Fastweb (www.fastweb.com). they have a huge database of scholarships, not to mention lots of tips for applying, filing out financial aide stuff, etc.

Go to your public library and check out the books on financing a college education and scholarships. I found a book the other day that listed every scholarship offered by each college.

You could also search Amazon for the names of scholarship books. After reading the reviews you would know which books to get out of the library. Sometimes a library will order a book if it doesn't have it and it looks worthwhile.

I'm sixteen and homeschooled too, and want to go to college early aswell, I am looking at Thomas Aquinas college in CA, its a really great college, and has great student financial aids and everything, google it, its only major is liberal arts (philosophy) but thats really good, you can also take side courses and get scholarships there but you're gonna have to do some research on your part, whats your best subject...I'm a history nut! I like math too...well I like everything pretty much...

I have found a ton of cool online scholarship search tools. A couple off the top of my head are Free Scholarship Guide and 10k Scholarship.

You can search for scholarships by keyword. Hope it helps!

I think you should talk to ur counselor or go to the college and go to their financial aid office

The sites above are mostly contest like nationwide and that lessesns ur chances like alot!!

Go to local scholarships! Go to a school counselor or the actual college...u should be able to get financial aid!

if you think it is too late to start a sport, just concentrate on Standerized tests and GPA. If these are high you can get accepted fro a wide range of scholorships, but only grades will not help your chances of getting accepted at a school

i might tell the full worldwide to stop being up its very own butt with all its phony piety. The Earth isn't plenty better than a slowly rotating rock with climate, so why does all people think of they're so particular? recover from yourselves, you morons!
