I'm looking for authoritative research on ghosts. Does anyone have anything valuable? I ask because my mom had an out-of-body / near death experience several years ago during a life-threatening surgery. Could you provide me with any links?

Your mother could have experienced astral projection (I don't know if I spelled that right! lol). My father also had an out of body experience during surgery, and that is the only name for it that we found.

Spirituality and ghosts are very relative when you consider that we all have a spirit and when we die our spirit transcends the physical. Often in my religion we refer to Jesus's spirit as the Holy Ghost.

wha ur mom has experienced was subcontious state of mind,which can be gained thru deep meditation,such moments does occour during meditation,u too can experience it,at that moment she just experienced supernatural powers which r always present within everybody,but rarely people discove/explore these supernatural powers,it was HIS grace which ur mom experienced,not act of ghost.tell ur mother meditate daily,she may gain more divine experiences,it seems there is lot of possibility in her

i don't have a link but i have had one hanging around me ...i go to look for something and couldn't find it and when i was sick of looking it would show up on the floor where i been walking and knew it wasn't there before that has happened many times

i don't think ghost exist infact noone in my religion think that ghosts exist
