Please read Matt 24 and decide for yourself.
In the early twentieth century people were confounded by this chapter. It just did not make sense to them.
As the end draws near we have a clearer understanding of what is meant in this passage.
Conclusion: we're closer to the end now than we were in the twentieth century.

well... There are prophecies that have been fulfilled in the last 50 years that have NEVER been fulfilled in ALL of history... and those prophecies are 1000's of years old....

The birth of the nation Israel - 1948 - Isaiah 66:8

The recapture of Jerusalem - 1967 - Luke 21:24

The ability for global communication - Revelation 11:9-10; 17:8

The ability for global destruction - Matthew 24:21-22

The ability to control world banking and commerce - Revelation 13:17-18

Jerusalem would be “a burdensome stone” to ALL nations -Zechariah 12:3

Israel would be invincible - Zechariah 12:6-9 - Since 1948, tiny Israel has been attacked in three major wars and six lesser wars, yet despite being vastly outnumbered, they have defeated all attacking foes.

Yeah its going to happen, but we will all have moved to some other planet because we have depleted all of earth's natural resources. And then Jesus will come to earth and be like"What the ****. Where is everybody? Where are all of my children?"

And then once on our new planet, everybody will join Scientology and become really, really scary. Like super scary, Tom Cruise scary. Many will actually praise Tom Cruise as our messiah and we will be forced to watch nothing but All the Right Moves and Cocktail all day long, with our eyes clamped open. Kinda like in a Clockwork Orange.

...but that is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

This is still a small skirmish, but if it escalates to world involvement, could be. At present only Lebanon and Iran have commitments against Israel and the Iranian commitment is only conditional at this point, but links all around could suck us all into the conflict. This has been the threat since Israel's re-inception in 1949.

when the antichrist is revealed, the true Christians are homebound, you may count down seven years. Paradise for 3.5 years, hell on the earth the other 3.5 years.
then the final battle begins...

I plan on not being there. I will be looking down...
