You don't need to waste a teabag. Just soak a wash cloth in very hot, almost boiling water. Place it on your eye near the sty. This will force the pus in the sty to form a "white head", which can be broken with a little of pressure or very carefully with a sterilized needle, to release the pus, which is causing your pain. Be very careful with the needle around your eye. If this is an exceptionally large sty, you may need to see a Doc.

I'm not sure how you get them, but I've had a few also. Mine were fairly small and went away in about a day or two on their own. If you've had yours longer than that, and it's truly painful, I'd call your doctor and find out if he can recommend any home remedies. I don't know of any OTC products for this ailment...

Put a soaked teabag on your eyes for about twenty minutes three or four times. They are caused from debrie getting in your eye. I got one from a piece of drywall once and another the wind was blowing and I got a cinder in my eye from ash from a fire.

Yea, those thing hurt! Go to your nearest pharmacy, and ask the pharmacist. My mom had a product that was like a glue. you put it in before you go to bed and it keeps your eye shut to let it heal naturally. good luck.

I always heard they were ingrown eyelashes. I guess that could be the case once in a while. Check out Wiki.
