Jon Stewart is most defitely Jewish. His name is actually Jon Stuart Leibowitz. He changed his name, he says, because it "sounded too Hollywood." In high school he was ridiculed by many classmates because he was the only Jew. Here is a line from his speech at William and Mary's commencement: "I came to William and Mary because as a Jewish person I wanted to explore the rich tapestry of Judaica that is Southern Virginia."

apparantly. Though I don't know if its through his father, mother, or both. (the difference being that one's status as jewish is passed from the mother to the child, not from the father.)

He's one of those anti-semitic jews. To understand anti-semitic jews you need to know that many jews are actually atheists and marxists. That's why you see him consistently taking the side of mulsims against the US, Israel and jewish victims of terrorism and other violence.
