All of my friends dress really slutty. Like polyester tight tube tops and nasty 20 dollar dresses from stores in warden station( subway station) I dress nice but my boobs don't hang out of my tops and I can breath while wearing jeans. So how come guys would prefer to talk to one of them instead of me? I'm pretty and I have style and I'm smarter then most of my friends. Am I being shallow or is this how the world is?

I specifically avoid such women, for those reasons. It's truly sad, what you describe. Seems to have been the fashion tendency since the late 90s. I think it's disgusting.
You're quite right to point out the polyester nature of it. Anything but classy.

Guys just know you are not easy. If your friends look like sluts, guys probably think they are sluts. Guys just see easy material in your friends. However, guys probably know you would like to have a relationship and you may intimidate them. Just stay the way you are and you'll meet some decent guys. You don't need the guys that talk to your slutty friends.

Don't change your style. There are guys who want sluts and there are guys who want nice girls. You'll get along better with the guys who want nice girls if you are one.
