Need an official copy of our organization's Tax Identification Number, how do I get one?

I know our number, but I need it on official government letterhead

Look at you IRS bill. Everyone considers them to be official.
It should be in your corporation papers or non profit organization papers.

The IRS should be able to provide that to you in some written fashion....call the IRS.

It's a W9 form. You can download one at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf#search='from%20w9' and just fill it out.
