You should probably transition him to adult food now. Check with your breeder for guidance.

You may need to get a calming plug in they sell at hoslistic pet food stores, to help calm her and ot help with the seperation anxiety. Start by leaving for just a few minuetes when you home (go outside for a few minuetes WITHOUT HER etc) And when she stops whining come back in. Or come back in after a short period of time. She is probably afraid you will NEVER return. Get her back on kibble, mix it in with the human food, try Merrik wet food (looks like human food and is made from human grade ingrediants) Mix in a little bit of table food or she probably wont eat it. Every time you feed her decrease the amounts of human food. Untill she doens't require it. Still give her scraps every now and then as long as she stays eating her dog food. As for her sleeping in your bed, mine does that too. When she whines, don't pay any attention to her, or atleast not imeadatly. She needs to know you are the leader, and she can't have everything she wants. For the ice cubes, she probably likes cold water keep doing the ice cubes, i do. Try leaving her at home, with toys, and treats scattered about. You will need to wear an old shirt a few times DONT WASH IT and leave it down for her, she will smell your scent and feel like you are there. Leave a window open(by this i mean pull the blinds a little) so she cans ee when you get home! I would highly reccomen getting the calming plug in. Before you leave maybe take her for a short little walk, or maybe just hold her for a few minutes. Like i said, leave the house randomly for a few minutes and stay outside (out of site) and this will help her.

There is info on the bag. It will give the appropriate age as to when you should transition to adult food. Do it gradually and not all at once by doing 1/2 and 1/2 and then slowly leading up to all adult dog food.

Start mixing adult and puppy food togther start with 3/4 puppy to 1/4 adult and slowly cut back on the puppy food till all that is left is the adult food. this should take about 2 months to do.

Our Puppy is nearing his first birthday this August and we already bought him his first dog food from Science Diet but the kernels are way to big for his mouth and teeth I guess, or he is being finicky. I'm going to continue giving him his puppy food, Science Diet Beef (something Natural), until his teeth get stronger. But on the package and according to our Vet, One year old is a dog and you can give them dog food. Nutrition-wise it's the best thing for them.

1 year. What ever you do don't give him Old Roy. There was a report put out about how they are allowed to use animals that have been put to sleep in the food. The drug used to put the animal down is still in the body when it's used. 7 years down the road dogs dieing. Gross!

now is a great time to start weaning your puppy to adult food. please do this slowly.
for first couple of feedings use 25% adult and 75% puppy. then in about three days make mixture 50/50 then about three more days do 75 adult 25 puppy till you get 100 percent adult dog food. this will make for a happy puppy without tummy aches or worse diarrhea
