I just want to let you know that you're not alone. Everybody feels insecure about something, or everything. In my case, it's everything. I also hate the way I look. I hate it so much that it triggered an eating disorder for a while. Please don't feel compelled to be better than you are. Because "perfection" doesn't exist. But if you're really bothered about the way that you look, I guess giving makeup a try wouldn't hurt. Well, you never said what age you are exactly, but I'm sure a little bit of makeup would be fine. Just a little though. Don't overdo it. Try mascara and a light foundation that matches your skin. The worst thing in the world is when foundation is too dark for your skin. I always have that problem, because I am super pale. And while I'm on the subject, paleness isn't a bad thing. At all. I live in Ireland, where almost everybody is really pale, but if it makes you stand out, then that's good. Who wants to be like everybody else anyway? I don't know what style hair you have. But if your hair is naturally straight and very flat, then try blow drying it for some volume. If it's curly, invest in a hair straightener. Not to fully straighten your hair, but just to calm down those crazy fly away bits. Also add some layers or bangs. Side bangs look good on almost everybody. Don't get them cut too short, though. I know you didn't mention it, but eyebrows can really change how a person looks. You can either go to a pro to do them, which I'd reccomed, but otherwise, buy a pair of tweezers and using some sort of pencil draw on your eyebrows the shape you want them to be. Then, using the tweezers, pull out everything that is outside the outline. Oh, and never pluck from above the eyebrows. Don't worry about being tall. Last time I checked, I'm 5'7. Again, I don't know your age, but your peers are probably gonna catch up on you real soon. And they're secretly all complaining about how they wish they had really long legs like you. Oh and one other thing, freckles are awesome, and so cute. Hope this helped :)

It really depends on HOW pale because blonde OR brunette can make you look "sick" (as you say). It really depends on your skin TONE no matter how white or TAN you are. You're best bet is to GO to a proffesional and ask their opinion. Better yet, ask more than one. It's hard to give an opinion with out seeing what you're skintone is like. I would say (without looking at you) that possibly a dirty blonde (or Light Brown) would help you with your skin tone and not be such a contrast from your pale skin. Also really blonde might make you look to white or make your hair blend in with your face giving you a *washed* out look.(which you wouldn't want either) Just expirement with colors if you have the time and money, and pick what makes you look BEST. Good luck!

I have natural pale skin (seriously, I look sick all the time) and green eyes and my hair is deep cherry red. Red and blondes look nice with that colouring, or glossy brown with red and gold highlights.

Red hair is quite natural for this skin and eye color, golden highlights or very dark red hair with lighter red highlights.you can fix anemia pretty quickly if you have blood transfusions, and Iron should pick your coloring up soon

if ur pale skinned u should stick to the lighter colours stay clear of the blacks hot reds and dark browns as they will drown u out.
highlights are always the way to go to add depth and texture to ur hair so maybe a 2 toned blonde look

dark brown with light brown highlights would probably do the trick because I'm anemic too and that's what color I dyed my hair and people say it looks really good on me and I don't look as pale as I did when I had blond hair.

you can even try jet black hair with the blue highlights like Christina Ricci or Rose mcgowen even Demi Moore has dark hair and her eyes are green
or you can go with rich red that goes great with green eyes. Like Lindsay Lohan's red hair b4 she started f@#!in wit it...
whatever girls tell you here.. STAY AWAY from blonde

i'm pale skinned with green eyes and i get told i look best wit short cropped red hair. a lighter shade of red with low lights looks nice. try not to put too much "junk" on your skin to cover up the "sick look". moisturise with a slightly shimmering lotion, or a tinted lotion. it will help add some color to you. keep your iron up and do your best to stay healthy :)
