Slivovitz is a Polish plum brandy. Very strong stuff. If you like strong liquors, you might like it; I really couldn't get much plum flavor from it. I much prefer Kirschwasser (German cherry brandy); it's also strong, but the cherry flavor comes through.

I have, If I remember, I think it is a Yugoslavian plum brandy and it sucked
