Coombs, I picked that number because 500,000 women and children were killed as the result of our ecomic sanctions against Iraq and the General public there hates us for that as well as Sadamm...Also because of our depleted Uranium from gulf war many people have died of cancer- they hate us for that- also we've killed over 100,000 CIVILIANS. are you saying that all civilians of Iraq are terrorist and not innocent? If I stay away from the polls than more cowboy politics like Bush will further create more tension. Do you really think our fighting in Iraq and Afgahnistan have decreased terrorist activity. Sure terrorists have always used training camps- but who signs up for those camps? People who have had their whole lives destroyed because our bombs killed most of their family. What would you do if most of your family was wiped out by a bomb? You'd join whatever force necessary to wipe out the people who did that to you... so no I don't think I'm working on a PhD cause I'm asinine.

I'm not a danger to my country. Thinking critically is what made this country strong in the beginning and always will. Following wars blindly is what will get HUMANITY killed.

DJack- even though I still disagree with you on the number 2% based on the way we calculate it... I think you have a good point. If we really want to stop terrorism as an idea, we need to help people be less motivated by fundamental religious fanatacism and create an environment where people are free to think what they want without being killed for it. So I would like to see a war on terror more as a publicity PR campaign than a violence campaign, becuase history teaches us that violence breeds violence- thanks for your input- so do you think this war has created more terrorists?

Madeit- what does this sentance mean?
"If we did create more people that want to kill us no matter what then we can kill all of them too." Was this written by a Bush advisor? Are you suggesting it doesn't matter if we create more people who want to kill us, we'll just have to kill more people? Doesn't that sound cruel, and illogical?
Secondly, I respect our men and women in uniform and since both of my grandfathers had the courage to go to WWII (one of them in Iwo Jima), I probably would have the courage to also volunteer in this war if I was poor and had the presumption of wanting to force liberty on people when they're not ready for it.
I'm realistic. I realize that we're not PURPOSESLY screwing up in our war of terror- that would be self-defeating. I don't think we're purposefully killing lots of innocent people like you assumed in your statement that I did, I think we just don't have enough people asking enough questions. I'm sorry if any questions disrespect anyone.

Sadly I will have to agree with you on this fact. Since 9/11 there have been more terrorist attacks on every country (and these attacks are growing both in the savagery and scope). You are right when you say that a significant percentage (from what I see it is more of 55-75% not 90%) of the people killed are innocent (mostly the bomb/missile victims). This will anger certain people (especially those who either have nothing to live for anymore or those who have no clue) and make them join the terrorists. Honestly this could all have been avoided if the USA first focused only on Afghanistan and avoided the Iraqis (I agree that Saddam should fall, but they could have just assasinated him and his sons [damn the world response to assasination]...instead of using up 200000+ of the Yanks' troops in a morally questionable and incompetently executed invasion).
I also believe that this War on Terror should have a significant public relations campaign (Christians/Jews/Westerners want peace and friendship with Muslims, Islam is a religion of peace and practicality, Osama is a crack corrupting Islam...etc.etc.). But nonetheless a Military side (ableit one more pragmatic and thought-out than the one we see now) is still needed, because the ones who are already terrorists (especially those with blood on their hands) will never give up no matter how many Muslims we befriend nor how much we give them...and thus they should be eliminated so that their vision of an Islamic Empire and Shaira domination will die with them.

The idea of a terrorist is simply a matter of perspective. What benifits us, does not always benifit the next person, and people fight to retain what they consider to be their status quo. Of course there are the clinically insane (i.e. Kim Jong) and extreme religious fanatics, which do neglect certain values of life to persue their ends. However, if you look at the US' endorsement of Isreali attacksin a different perspective, people in Jordan might consider us terrorists. Furthermore, by using the label terrorist, you're simply dumbing down society to be more easily influenced through using a generalized term to distinguish between many different organizations and factions, each with their own perrogatives. You need to ask the question why an attack was made, by what group, and how it was carried out in order to understand the "enemy" that we are faced with. So in conclusion has the war on terror made more terrorists? Yes and no, yes because it was able to dumb down America to a point where we no longer see specific enemies, but see our situation as a good guy v. bad guy war. And no because these people that are so called terrorists have no real guidelines which distinguish them from any maniac, we disregard our own right to ask why...

If we did create more people that want to kill us no matter what then we can kill all of them too.
If you think that US policy or the military wants to kill civilians in mass, we have very big bombs that make big mushroom clouds and we are NOT using them.
Disrespect consists of spouting you mouth off without knowing the facts, which is not the same as being critical.
Go volunteer and be a man. You're probable just feeling this way because you're too scared to put your life on the line for liberty.

The answer to your question is Yes it has created more terrorists. Now all of a sudden every country wants to come after the United States. Look at us we have no one helping us in Iraq. Hong Kong or China, which, ever one is trying to blow up Hawaii which is part of the U.S. More soldiers have died this war then any other war and other countries are seeing this. They see we are losing more and more people and they now feel that this might be their chance to take on the United States. Before you know it every country is going to think we are weak and they are going to try to get a taste of the U.S. and once they start they probley will not stop. This world is ending because of this war.

Probably 2% of the people we kill are innocent, and those are called casualties of war. Never mind that though, you don't measure victory by battle casualties. We are not fighting terrorism the tactic, or terrorists the people, we are fighting the cause which motivates these 'people' to utilize 'terrorism' the tactic. The people YOU are talking about will quit fighting when we eventually leave. We're just defending ourselves while standing between them & other religious/ethnic groups & civilians. The al Queada types will still be fighting after we leave. We have to beat them by changing mid-east culture with modern education, democracy, & inalienable rights. Such a change starting in Iraq will spread like a weed thru the mid-east till Islamo-extremists & their cause is marginalized & turned into a joke by future generations. Hostory repeats itself right, look at the Nazis then & now.
Your additional details statistics are wrong. And I'm telling you flat out you don't know what "they" hate, like, fear, or love us for. You need to either spend som etime with them first hand rather than your propoganda sources with political goals, or you need to roll your oppinion back in till you can educate yourself.

I understand your anger, but I seriously don't think 90% of the people your military killed were innocent. I think the number's (still at a ridiculously high rate of) 35-40%. And, yes, I can see how that can make people want to be terrorists and you do have a valid point. Don't let these ignorant, closed-minded fools tell you otherwise.

NO I think terrorists orgainzations are just more publicly known now more than ever. All thanks to Alqeda on 9-11. Before that I've never even heard of them. I never heard of the fetayeen- local terrorist organization that was stationed in Iraq, for Saddam to terrorize the people he wanted to. Not just kill but torture.

Islamic terrorism is inspired by Islamic teachings. We can never get rid of Islamic terrorism unless we defeat the ideology behind it and that is Islam itself. Islam induces hate backed by lies. Muhammad was a terrorist by his own admission. All Muslims, to the extent that they follow him, are terrorists. Those Muslims who are not terrorists are ignorant of Islam and are not good Muslims. Fortunately they are the majority. We need to rescue them. If you are a good human being, you are not a Muslim. Read this site and if you can't prove me wrong, which you certainly can't, leave this deceitful cult of hate and terror and join mankind. Don't be part of the Umma. Umma is fascism. It is divisive. It induces the hatred of others. Be part of humanity instead. Your ignorance is not an excuse. Pull your head out of the sand and face the truth, like we did.
Faith Freedom International is a grassroots worldwide movement of ex-Muslims and all those who are concerned about the rise of the Islamic threat. We want to bring humanity together, not by introducing yet another doctrine, which always ends up dividing mankind more, but by eliminating the doctrines that divide us. We want to abolish this evil 'Muslim vs. Kafir" dichotomy. Mankind is one family. Don't let narcissist men like Hitler and Muhammad sunder us with their big lies. Don't become the victim of the "divide and rule" policy of a psychopath.
Faith Freedom stands for freedom of faith. We are against Hate, not Faith. We revere human rights not human beliefs. We endeavor to be factually correct, not politically correct.
Do your part! Let this message out. Let us eradicate Islam and bring mankind together - the way God intended. Islam is the cancer of humanity. We can get rid of it. There is nothing we humans can't do. Mountains move aside to make way for those who are determined.

No, 90% of the people we kill are certainly NOT innocent. Don't buy into the lies by the liberal media. The terrorists would hate us and attack us anyway, so it is better to fight them.
