What Drug? It makes a difference. If you are only a casual user most drugs are cleared from the system in 2-4 days. If you are talking pot and are a heavy user (2-3 times a week) then it can last for 6 - 8 weeks. Is it a hair or urine test? Depending on your psychology drinking 2 quarts of vinegar may ruin the test for THC metabolites, (I have heard.) but it will give you the runs and will make you sick. Also, if they do a GC/MS confirmation you will get hit for an adulterated test which is the same as a positive test.
If you are really worried - for $149.00 look up the Wizzenator online.
Try the vinegar thing. Most home tests won't pick it up. Do realize that this is different for everyone. Drink and get your own home test to check the day before your parents and then drink more if you have to. Then quit smoking pot!

It's a longshot, boss. But your goal in life for the next week has to become how much cranberry juice and water can you drink? Cranberry juice cleans your system, plus it makes you piss, which again, cleans your system. Water, keeps you hydrated from drinking all the cranberry juice. Also, I don't know how healthy you are, but the more cardio exercise you can do (ie., running), the better. I'd run 2 miles three times a day, at least twice a day. The more you sweat the better chance you'll get all the crap outta ya. If passing is important, there's your motivation. Good luck.

Good luck, The test now are really sensitive to drugs and tampering . I should know I do drug testing for a factory. Depending on the drug will determin how fast you can get it out of your system. but you obviously would have to not take any drugs for a week. If you cannot go a week without drugs that should tell you something.

my hubby is a recovering drug addict as am i and he used white vinager he quit using two days before the test and drank 4 oz of vinager for the two days and he has passed but it taste and smells really bad

go to a head shop and ask for advice and stop taking druigs now cause you should be clean for at least a week for whatever methods they suggest to work

drink lots and lots of water. working out at least 1 hour a day, basically sweating, drink a beer, glass of wine or a shot only once a day. and more water
