This is SO out of character for me and I'm really confused with being so attracted to this man. Help me out guys! Is the age really too much??

Okay.. so here the rest of the deal I just met the guy at my new job and the thing is. It's basically..I have the BIGGEST crush on him! He jokes around with ALL my other co-workers but is very formal ONLY with me. That really brings me down. How do I get him to notice me in an attraction kind of way?? I think he might be assuming already that I'm too young for him anyways...

My best advice is this little sister. I too dated a guy that was in his early 30's when I was 23. It started out well enough but then I realized when I wanted to go out, he wanted to stay home. He got tired real easy and we were litterally too far apart generation wise. He was 9 yrs older than I was. It got really bad because my age became a problem for him and his became a problem for me.
I don't want to tell you not to date somebody you like but I will tell you to make sure that you've thought about all the not so pleasant things that can go down in a situation like this. I only hope that you've thought about everything long and hard to come to a conclusion that's best for you. Not you and him. Best of luck to you little sister.

I find yes and no depending up on the people.
If you two have a lot in common I say yes.. as people say, age ain't nothing but a thing but if he's into sinatra, while youre into shakira for example they may be some problems.
But my personal feeling is if, you two have a lot of common interests or could make some together then yeah go for it.. I know I'm interested in a girl that's got about the same age difference of you and your beau and we share a few things.. So I would say go for it and see

Age matters and personally I think an age difference of more than 10 years should make u ask some though questions.

If he treats you the way you like to be treated, then what could be wrong? Age is really a number, and if he's a good guy, then make him a keeper. Do you think your parents would freak out?

Honey, we'd better hope not! I'm way into a 30-some too, and I've been asking the same question in my head for a while now. I don't think the age is too much. If he digs you, go for it. :)

My best friend is 19 and is dating a 38 year old... They're very happy with each other and mature about their decision to be together. I think it's fine as long as it's legal.

It depends on nothing more than your desires for each other and what you have in common. Thats a small age difference if you connect when you date a couple times

Not at all. If two people are adults, the age should not be a deciding factor in a relationship.

No, it's not. You are no longer 18 years old and you could go for someone that's 75 if you wanted to.

I am 29 and my girlfriend is 22. I plan on marrying her someday. it has been the best relationship of my life. you have to ask yourself one thing though. will it bother or embarrass you to be seen with him in public places?
