I recently ordered a Total Gym, and what stuff should I buy to supplement my workout. I used to have a roommate, and he worked out often, and he had like the big container of Protein and Createan (sorry on spelling). He was a little guy about 5'4 and he had nice defintion and stuff (nothing gay). I would ask him but I dont have his #, so what stuff like this is good and recommended.
Anything that increases energy and quicker muscles, not steroids tho.

Im 18, about 5'9, small like 145-155, in crappy shape.

I would just like answers to what is good to use, not any comment about the Total Gym and thingsl like Gyms are better ETC. I dont prefer the gym, to many sweating and germs, and didnt get the Bowflex tried it and didnt work. I prefer workouts from home without heavy benches n weights.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Exactly what your roomate used "Whey Protein" and "Creatine" is all you need. "Glutamine" if you can afford it.
Here is one of the cheapest places. massnutrition.com
Buy the "Dymatize" brands, they are cheap and just as effective.
Not trying to comment on your machine, I think you can get a great workout from a total gym.
However "Weider" makes one exactly the same, It is called the "Total body works 5000" Wall mart has it for $100.
Good Luck.

Depends on your specific goals. If you are not competing in a sport, stocking up on creatine and protein powder isn't a great call. Creatine will give you more energy, and will help you get stronger. You can usually get enough protein in your diet, just eat more lean meats.

get some dumbells. They will give you more gains in size than any machine can. Free weights work more of the muscle because you have greater range of motion and you have to work more to balance it. Machines are good for strength toning and defining, but freeweights will give you more size.

nicely you're lacking legs. that is a million/3 of your body. besides, you're doing abs 2 days in a row. once you're quite operating your abs precise, doing them two times in a row is overtraining and leads no the position.
