i am an internation student in us and kinda lonely. what are the best places to meet some girls and go out with them . Bars , clubs or just look around .. and being foreign..i am not used to us culture. On top of it , i am really shy ..how should i approach them?? any ideas???

The USA is a very bad place to meet women. If you talk to them on the street, they have you arrested for stalking. If you approach them they automatically say "NO", before they even know what you were going to ask. You must be introduced to them through a mutual acquaintance, or meet them in a casual setting such as church, or work, or class. Anything other than that, and they reject you unless they were looking at you. It does not matter how nice of a guy, or how good looking you are, they decide.

Your classes are the best places to meet girls! Ask a girl for help with your homework and voila! Instant company. Get a study group together (ask all the girls) and meet for dinner at the dining hall first, then go to your dorm and study! Time it so it is around American Idol time and leave it on in the background. This will give you something to talk and laugh about.
I understand you are shy, but girls can't resist a guy in need of help. Tell them you want to practice your English. Ask them to explain US culture to you. Don't forget to smile and make eye contact.

Bars & clubs are about the worst places to meet women. Just make new friends at school or work. Usually, we meet our companions through our other friends.
I have met some really nice guys, online. Of course, I have met some real losers, too. You kinda gotta get to know them online first.....then progress to phone chats for a while....then actually meet. Just be careful

you could start at a bar/club, but you might try a local coffee shops and get to know people in the area. Also get involved in activities near you. Since you are an international student it might help as well accents are always hot.

did you try in the grocery stores. if you are shy. just go up and talk to them. just start with hi. then go from their. bars are good. have a drink and relax your shy ness will go away. just don't pick up someone Else's girl. that will start a fight. or a biker chick. you will get your a** kick for that. biker don't like that. my boyfriend and i ride. GO FOR IT, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE. GOOD LUCK. YOU HAVE A LOT TO LEARN IN THE US.

if your a good looking guy go to a bar if not your gonna have to go to the club because its darker. chill bars are good for picking up ladies if your good looking.
