Notice that the only people buying your lies are your fellow Christians.
Isn't lying against one of your commandments?

Enjoy it? Enjoy it while it lasts, my friend. Why are you trying to get people to join you? Are you afraid to attempt this new claim on your own? I find it hard to believe that you were a Christian. In the Bible it says that there are those who come into the Church and leave and those are the anti-Christs (not like Satan the Anti-Christ, but just against Christ). True Christians cannot lose their salvation because it is by Grace and Grace alone. This is a gift of God the Father. Christ says that none can come to Him unless given Him by the Father. Do me a favor, think about this, to me, it takes WAY more faith to be an atheist than a Christian. Why? Think about being a Christian and the consequences when you die if you're wrong... nothing. Now, think about being an atheist and being wrong when you die... the consequences... Hell. Please know that I say this with as much love and conviction as is in my soul. I will be praying for you! Please email me if you have any questions or want to talk!

wow, I'm really surprised you feel that way. What made you decide all of a sudden that the God you loved and had known for 52 years didn't exist? I don't think you're going to feel so great for very long. The Bible says that anyone who leaves the Lord is seven times worse off than anyone who didn't know him in the first place. God still loves you and it's never too late to come back to Him.

No, because I want to be liberated in the life to come, not simply thinking I am here on earth.
And, if you can give christianity up after 52 years, I don't think what you had was genuine christianity. I'd keep looking.

Well you weren't the best Christian so lets hope you make a better atheist.
In fact your a judgemental, misguided, nasty, abusive and foolish man.
And being over the age of 52 I would have exptected better from u than to pick on a young girl.

How is it that the mere mortals who cite the Bible (written by mortal men, may I add) and those who presume to tell this person that they will burn in hell and be sorry for their "mistake" are doing so on the basis of their own religion and personal choices. God did not make religion. Man did. And how dare you at the same time, pass judgement on a person when "your God" says that judgement is for "Him" alone and not mortals. I would tell you to take your self-righteous BS and go shove it, but then I would lower myself to your level. Everyone has their own spiritual journey and it is for them and God/ess alone and no one else to decide.
Fanmail, good for you to have come to this stage in your development. Atheism, however, is the absence of a belief in a higher power- not that you choose not to believe in God, although I do understand what you are trying to say. After years of spiritual oppression from the church (I call it oppression because it was), I, too have finally found the freedom and courage to seek the Divine in my own, special way, free from mortal domination and folly. Those who cannot truly find God in their hearts use harsh words and criticisms to defend and explain what they do not seek to fully understand. I wish you and everyone else here the best of luck and love on their journeys and may they, too, find peace.
Namaste.

So you decided to join the dark side. I am very sorry to hear that. You will find out at the end that this was the biggest mistake you ever made and it will be too late to change back.
I pray that you find you're way back.
I pray that God Guides you

I always was Atheist. Real world is much more interesting and fascinating than old fantasies. The fantasies are very interesting too. I am pro-Santa Clause, it is fun. But when someone get angry telling me that he just talked with Santa, I kind of shy away... “ok, ok, you did it, just leave me alone...”

I rejoice in your feeling. If things ever go wrong for you our doors will always be open to you, till the last day and even then any judgment will be on your ways; not your religion or lack of.
Be good.

After looking over some of your questions/answers, I have a hard time believing that you are actually an atheist. I'm glad your're happy with whatever you believe (or don't believe).
