Some ancient Celtic religions used blackbirds, eagles/falcons, stags, boars, and geese--although geese were also associated with war.
I also use these symbols in my practices today.

Whoever said the cats comment about Hindus has some serious prejudice issues. I hope you overcome them soon. As associations go, usually it is the Cow that is the symbolic animal for Hindus. They often roam the street unmolested because among other things this could be the reincarnation of dear old grandpapie. In any case when it comes to Hinduism all is Sacred and all is one. In summation, any and all animals can be seen to represent Hinduism.

Well elephants are related to the Hindu faith.
Lord Ganesha has an elephant head and his ride or motor car is a mouse.
Then Hanuman is a monkey
The snake sits on siva's shoulders.
The mother goddess Durga sits on a tiger.
Each and every deity has an animal related with the deity.
So hinduism has a lot of animals in it.

Actually the lamb represents both christianity and jewdism. Where as the Ram has Jewish roots but is also Satanic. Of course Satanism also uses the serpent, which is also referrred to as the mighty beast (the dradon).

i think a lamb would be Christianity, because Jesus is the lamb of God
a cow for Hindu, because cows are sacred
a raven would be the Wiccan religion, because it's dark and mysterious
an owl would be Islam, it represents wisdom, ok that reason is kind of random
and a water bear would be Buddhism, because it is resiliant and doesn't need much to survive

the elephant represents lord ganesh of the Hindu religion. also the cow is very sacred to Hindu's because Hindu's believe that the cow is the mother. i.e if the mother of a new born baby dies they would use the milk from the cow to nourish the baby
