Aussie has this scrunching spray, and my hair won''t scruch at all with anything else, but it is SO CUTE with the spray. As soon as you get out of the shower, just spray some in your hair, and start scrunching all over with your hands. It takes like 3 min. You could also try and experiment with some cute up-dos, since you will be at camp, this would be fine. Even if you did straighten your hair, with all the outdoor activity I assume you will be doing, you hair probably wouldn't stay too straight anyways. Massy bunx, ponytails, and pig tails could all be cute, and would probably hold up better, at camp!!! Good luck!

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

If you get a perm, you won't be able to wash your hair for the next 24 hours- but that's all I know. As for maintaining your hair at camp, try taking a leave-in conditioner (Garnier Fruitice is my fav) and applying it to your wet/dry hair. It won't make your hair straight but it'll keep the frizz away!

Well, I don't know anything about relaxers and such but there's always the braid. Cosmo says it's in so that's enough, right? Loose braid, face framing curls, Ta-da! A bun or back in a clip will keep it under control, too.

I have wavy, frizzy hair naturally, so after washing it, while still damp, I apply Garnier Fructis Style Curl Shaping Spray Gel and blow dry it, this straightens my hair and it stays that way all day.

relaxing perms don't last that long for natural curly hair! get some moose and use only a pic, or large tooth comb to comb your hair. you can try scrunching your hair too! just use your fingers to scrunch your hair with moose or gel...don't use pic/comb at all. to touch up throughout the day dampen fingers with a little water and scrunch it up again!

have fun!!!

also look into i think, john freida "frizz-ease" products..i think he has a line now, where u can just put in your hair straight after the shower and you dont have to use any styling tools except your hands :) i think there is one where you just put the stuff in your hair and straighten it wiht your hands even. or maybe that is something else..either way, u can always go to your nearest hair care/beauty store and ask them :)

Baroque pop took off in the '90s with impartial Milk motel's in the Aeroplane Over the sea, notwithstanding it received steam in the '00s. besides, prog all started in the '60s, new wave all started in the '70s and grunge all started in the '80s. put up-grunge, yet i do not see human beings remembering that too a lot. Yeah, and in that experience, baroque pop is function of this decade.
