Eat healthy and eat organic, at least foods that aren't shelled with tough skin (for example bananas, oranges, avocados, etc. don't really matter as the edible part is hidden inside) but other foods should be eaten organic or at least in natural/pure state. The less ingredients, the better and for example brown rice is better than white rice. Lean meat is better than non-lean. White meat is naturally leaner than red by the way (example: turkey is leaner than beef). Drink water only. If you do want juice then either buy organic or pure juice at the store (it will have no extra ingredients added) or juice your own fruits/vegetables. Snack on healthy things like nuts (lightly salted or salt-free), and sweet potato chips instead of regular as sweet potatoes are healthier. Berries by the way will boost your immune system greatly. The darker the stronger, especially blueberries. Remember to watch your portion sizes though because overeating can lead to weight gain, even if/when the food is healthy. You can eat frozen vegetables/fruits since they are frozen shortly after being freshly picked. Certain canned foods are safe too such as canned pumpkin and tomato (and canned beans if low or no salt).
