Very true that kitten doesn't need to be potty train, but you do need to put cat litter in the litter box, the smell of the cat litter will lead your kitten to go there, but make sure to place the littler box in a less traffic place.

It is a cats` or kitten nature to dig in the sand or dirt and go "potty", Just sit them in the litter box and keep an eye on them,They know what to do.

My Siamese cat Sarah just had another litter this is her 5th. I have watched heer with her kittens and she will sometimes lead them to the litter box, sometimes not.If I catch them doing it on the floor i pick the kitty up and run to the litter box, if we don't make it I pick up the poop and take it and the kitty to the litter box put the kitty in if it does not want to stay I rub its nose in it a couple of times. Sometimes you will get one that no matter what you do it will not go in the litter box, so outside. Good Luck with your kittys..

Provide a litter tray, and put the kitten in after it has eaten, he will learn almost immediately what to do. I think it is a natural instinct with a kitten.
However - as as been suggested, - -Please!!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER put their nose in their dropping, this is not only cruel, it doesn't serve any purpose, the kitten hasn't done anything wrong, it has performed a perfectly natural body function. Its just done it in a place that doesn't suit.
Thats just like hitting a baby when it soils and misses the diaper.......

I've never really had to train any of my cats to use the litter box. I just sat them in it and when they had to go, they went straight for it. Cats are just smart like that.

if you know someone with a cat. take your cat there and let it watch the cat go potty. then it will smell the box and it might go in the box.

all you have to do, is put them inthe litter box and scratch the litter with their front paws...like they do when they go potty. They take it from there.
