Well, I agree with you sir. Israel still wants to get Lebonan, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt as it is the parts of their promised land. "from nile to Euphrates". Israel is only looking for an opportunity to invade these countries and conquer them once and for all. It is OK for the Hezbollahs to attack the Israeli army as they are in a war already, there was never a ceasefire. So Israel should try to fight army instead of bombing innocent civilians. By the way, what would Americans do if they are attacked and oppressed by a very powerful country. So powerful, that if they try to attack soliders they will never succeed. How will they respond to oppression when the military difference is so huge??.. Therefore, other means are used to fight oppression (i am not saying that I necessarily agree with it, I just understand the feelings of Palestianians)..

It's very unfair to comment when you are thousands of miles away. The situation in Middle East is not so clear-cut. Having been to Israel before and lived with the Jews, I have heard their side of the story. I am not saying that the Arabs do not have their side of the story. I am just saying that in my opinion, your views might be too narrow minded. They are living a life that I would think you have never experienced before. It is more than the 2 soldiers.
And I don't think they want their promised land back. There are a lot of land in Israel right now. If they develop those land, they will have more than enough land for their own use for now.
Israel is a dessert and yet throughout more than 20 civilizations has conquered, but only temporarily occupied her. It's quite amazing if you ask me. Dumb? Nope but this is my opinion.

Interesting how you present the case. The reality is that you have the facts wrong. This is not just about 2 Israeli soldiers that were abducted.....One Israeli was killed, 36 people were wounded and thousands of civilians spent the night in underground shelters. Eight Israeli soldiers have been killed.
Anyone can 'spin' things to make their point of view sound good....some of us just are not stupid enough to buy into it....

I think Isreal has its good and bad days, from a moral perspective, but as I've developed my understanding of the mideast I've come to realize that virtually every Muslim ruled state is f*ing insane. There can be no peace with a religion that embraces destroying everything and anything that isnt "Islam." WE should be thanking Isreal for keeping the MidEast destabilized enough that it doesnt have the extra resources to turn its fanaticism on the US. The Arabs and Isrealis are so busy hating each other that it keeps us out of the fray.
I think ultimately the US foreign policy with Isreal can be summed up as "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Yes they should just throw down their guns and let the TERRORIST come
in and kill everybody.Israel has already given them ninety percent of the
land that made up Israel in the start. Then the Muslim can start on the USA.They have already killed a couple thousand citizens men women
and baby's.
No what they should have done is gone after them when the first causality in Israel happened after they gave the Golan's Heights away.
The Hardball has only one goal in mind WORLD DOMINATION!The
average American is blind as a bat concerning Islam.

Excuse me but who started this fiasco by attacking Israel and taking hostages? Hezbollah.
Remember?
Who is sending rockets into civilian populations?
Hezbollah.
And don't think this is about the Palestinians.
Iran, Lebanon and Syria are just itching for a fight.
Here comes $30/gallon gasoline.
Ready for WWIII ??

It's not just two soldiers, hezbollah launched 50+ missiles at a civilian town in retaliation. How would you feel if a foreign country launched missiles at your town? If they launched them and killed your son? If they abducted your son?
I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong(except hezbollah but they are a minority) but please have empathy. These people get no peace these days

Sooooo, if everytime someone takes an Israeli hostage, they kill people and go to war, why would someone continue to do that to them?
If everytime you stepped on my foot I hit you on the head with a frying pan, how dumb would you have to be to continue stepping on my foot?
Actually, you wouldn't be dumb, you'd be insane. Do you know the literal definition of insanity? It's continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result.
