What should a guy say if he were to ask a girl out on a date? Should he be funny, serious, or what? Please help me out.

Don't be too serious about it but don't be a clown either. Say, "Hey we should go to the movies sometime" If she says "ok" give her a day don't just leave it there. Say: "How about Saturday?"

The first question you should ask yourself is why you want to ask her out. If it's because you like her for what and who she is, then just be yourself, that's what she'll respond to. You don't need to be funny or serious. Remember, first impressions are what she's going to remember you by. If you only want to date her cause she's hot or its a challenge, than forget it, you're too shallow.

Well..being a little funny is good, but if it's too funny, the girl might think that he's jokeing. So she wouldn't want to go. So be..serious..but not like solem..good luck!!

He should be serious if the girls looks serious. He should be funny if she laughs a lot.

You should be serious, without a doubt. At least for me, I want to know that the guy is really into me, and that he is sure about what he is saying. If you joke about it she might take it the wrong way.

Be yourself. If you're normally a witty guy, be witty. If you're a more serious type, be serious. Don't try to be someone you're not, or she will see right through you and not take your seriously. Oh, and treat her with respect, OK? "Wanna go out, b!tc#?" is not a proper way to ask out a lady.

serious of course... because if he would be funny while asking her out then she might think that he is just joking.. but we like guys who can make us laugh.. be funny when you are together.. most of all just be yourself.. being yourself is the best that you can be

ok well im not a girl but i decided to help you anyway. just be yourself, if you are funny, be funny. if you're serious be serious. a girl can tell when you come to them. you won't be as confident trying to be someone u're not. trust me, you hear this and it sounds like a fairy tale, but seriously girls like a guy thats himself.
