Millions of people are leaving the country, yet I never seen anybody in Mexico in the streets protesting and asking why are so many people having to leave Mexico and why isn't the country doing anything to keep it's people there? Where are the riots, the protests, where is all those people who protest here why are these same people unable to do the same thing in their own country. You'd think these same people would be very upset and start demanding Mexico do something to improve their own country. Instead these same people come here and complain about having to pay taxes and Social Security isn't that part of the package and the price of being here. Does America have to change all of it's laws cause millions of people who enter the country illegally don't get it?Mexico just seems to be a backwards country all of Mexico complains about American but nobody leaves. I just don't see how anyone can be happy with Mexico when it deserts and abandons it's very own people....

Honestly, I asked almost the same question several times, and all the native mexicans , basicly call me a rascist , then ***** about America some more ... I don't understand them at all .

One of you Mexican citizens please explain this in detail. Also , don't start "B I T C H I N G" about America winning the war with Mexico .

Look at our past history, we broke away from England to form our own country, it was a violent trasition, but it was well worth it...our forfathers did this, Mexicans have a chance to become " The founding fathers of free Mexico". I belive , they can do it, they just need some one to get it started.

The government and system of law seems corrupt, even more so than the current bunch in the U. S. legislature. The standard of living and educational opportunities do not match up to those of the U. S. It's not so simple to "improve a country" like Mexico but it's very simple to migrate to the U. S. where even menial jobs mean much more financial remuneration for a typical, unskilled worker. So, in response to your original question, I guess Mexico as a country is not offering its citizens the same opportunities as their neighbor to the north. On the other hand, I've been to Mexico once (Pacific coast side) and I liked it very much.

You can't protest in Mexico. The federalis will kick your a$$. I know what you mean though, why don't they look to their own government insted of ours. Mexico is corrupt and the people in power don't give a shuit about anybody but themselves, so they let thousands of people live in poverty and that bribes to make themselves rich. And then their people come here and B!itch about how we don't do this and that and they want more. They have it way better here and they want more. Hello, you're not even a citizen and you get money, an education, jobs, and you still wanna complain.

What is wrong with Mexico? They are corrupt and produce criminal trash, for one thing. I know not ALL Mexicans are like this but it seems to me that the greatest percent of the illegals from there are just low lives. They have no right to protest here. This isn't their country. True Americans who give a damn about our country do not want them here. I know I don't.

Mexico is corrupt all the way to the top and always has been. No-one protests because the Mexican police will kill them. These people, who haven't the balls to change their own country to the system 'guaranteed' by the constitution written in the wake of the "Revolution", will influence and degrade our society as they already have done in deep S. TX.

Everyone knows that the USA is the land of opportunity. Its the dream in deprived countries to run to the 'States'. On the other hand, many American businesses are moving to Mexico for cheaper labor and raising our unemployment rate. So it really is a quandary.

Remember when most of our jobs went to Mexico.? Mexico had a chance but the government is so corrupt they blew it. China sucked the jobs out of Mexico and now tthe government sends them here. I cannot feel sorry for the Mexicans. They had a chance,

I agree completely. The government is corrupt and it is time for the mexican people to rise up. They are immigrating here and the legal immigration helps our country. The illegals ones hurt it.

I hope US helps mexicans change Mexico for the better.

A better question would be, what is right with Mexico? If things were right down there, they wouldn't keep crossing the border illegally - they'd stay home where they belong!

You just answered that question....read your last sentence. You left out the part where their government is crooked and self serving, and that these people don't have the civil rights that we do here!

Your comments are like saying "why is that person eating caviar in THIS restaurant? he wasn't eating carviar in McDonalds last week. Why doesn't he just go back to McDonalds and eat his caviar there? Think about the situation these folks are escaping...wouldn't you try it too?
