Try to contact your local gun dealer. They know exactly the requirements on how to apply to possess license firearm. One of the pre-requisite is that, no derogatory records on police file, holder of Social Security Number, Driving License, etc.

I dont think you can. You would have to go down to the police station where you register for a firearm license and ask there policys on owning a firearm. I know they might do a background check.
