First of all, the true Islamic teaching teaches all its followers to become a caring person. Islamic religion emphasizes on the teaching of morality.
If your Muslim doctor is caring as a human being and because he is a doctor, then you should not be worried. You should appreciate what the doctor is doing.
However if your Muslims doctor shows affection on you (such as in a male-female relationship) and you are concern whether you will fall in love with the doctor; then my advise is a follows:
1) See whether both of you are single or not (Meaning, you don't have a husband and the doctor don't have a wife);
2) If both of you are single, then it is up to you to evaluate your feeling towards your doctor, that is whether you want to treat him only as a nice friend or you want to develop your relationship to something more special.

Why would you be worried about having a muslim doctor any more than a christian, buddhist, or wiccan doctor? Religion doesn't really have anything to do with the healthcare he should provide, and if he's a caring person then why does his being muslim have ANY thing to do with how you feel about him as your provider?? Remember, there are hipocrites in every religion...don't judge people based on stereotypes.

Why would you be? Would you be concerned if he were Christian or Jewish? Just because someone is from a certain part of the world doesn't make him on the FBI's most wanted list. Unless his name is Osama, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. He's chosen to move to this country, and work in this country. Look past the color of his skin, and his religion and see the person. Just because he practices Islam he's not on the news.

One thing you should understand. All muslims are not terrorists. In fact a very very small percentage of them are. Most muslims are good people. I would not be concerned in the least.

I am Muslim, and my dear--there is nothing to be concerned about. Muslims are great doctors, and very good human beings.

Your question has no correlation at all.What has being muslim got to do with it. Anyone can be caring, should you be concerned is what you need to ask yourself. Any Dr can be weird regardless of race or gender!

Why would you be concerned? If he's competent, concerned for your well being, up to date on medical advances and has a good bedside manner who cares what religion he is.

What is he going to do? Walk in with a bomb strapped to him? Muslims are people too.
I'd be more concerned with that predjudiced attitude you have.
