I support them 100%... USAF Persian Gulf War veteran =)

I am Republican and a moderate conservative. Parties are guidelines, not a substitute for reasoning out your own views on issues.

And despite what people think this current war is not illegal... Congress has to declare war after a majority vote of all members according to our legal system, and that procedure was followed to the letter. The President does not delcare war, as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces he simply prosecutes the war AFTER Congress makes it's decision to declare war. In other words the House of Represenatives and Senators of BOTH parties started this war, it's Mr. Bush's job to make sure we win it.

Not this congress and Not this current administration. They have progressively cut veterans benefits since taking office in 2000.
They put men and women in harms way, and then was using weapons made with depleted uranium. When these soldiers come home they will come home radioactive if they make it home. Their children will be born with birth defects, and these soldiers will most likely die from radiation poison.
Do you realize that the soldiers that served in the first gulf war under W.'s father were subjected to the same depleted uranium weapons and that over 5000 have died from the mysterious gulf war disease, yet it is not so mysterious, because they knew before they sent the first solider. Want to know who doesn't know? The soldiers. The military wrote a handbook on safety in handling and dealing with depleted uranium weapons but refused to train soldiers. Why? Because they knew no solider would willing subject their selves or their families to radioactive waste.
I do support the troops, I want them home, and out of this illegal war. I want the purpertors of this war to be held accountable in a court of law. What they have done as far as I am concerned is committ treason. They refuse to honour their oaths of office and they refuse to preserve, defend or uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
As far as my politics go, I am first and foremost a patriot. There ought to be 2 documents in every American's home, the first ought to be the consitution, the second ought to be the bible of their religious preferance. Children ought to be taught about their consitution from kindergarden thru college until they can quote and comprehend it's purpose and power. It is our contract with our government and they have been in breach since 1913, and most recently and openly breached it again in November 1963.
P.S. if some words are misspelled sorry the spell check failed.

I support the troops, however not the reason they are fighting. I consider them victims of the worst leadership we've had since Jimmie Carter. I'm a 14-year-old democrat.

I support the troops...

I do not support the people who make dumb decisions about what the troops must do though. Because after all, it's definitely not the pols' children that are being sent to war is it?

I'm a soldier and a republican. I support our troops and the war. Let's face it: every serviceman volunteered for any and all war. You can't support a person and not support that for which he volunteered. Oh, I also believe that the Iraqi people deserve human rights.

No, I support veterans funding cut and I want my tax cut, a good tax this year, too bad it came at the expense of vetereans, because they cut their funding. Too bad they cant get better those chin straps and better pading for their kevlars so they would be more safe because of tax cuts during war time. I dont care if they dont get improved padding for their kevlar so their heads dont ring like the bell as long as I get my big tax cut. I am so glad I am a Republican and got my tax breaks. Tax cuts and Vetereans cuts. Action speaks louder than words.
Republican
