i think cats have souls, what do you think?

i really believe that cats and dogs have souls and they are up in heaven just having a good time waiting for their loved one to come just like people

Ok the church i grew up with told me that they don't because they don't go to heaven....but i soon grew up questioning my faith and grew up loving animals....so i believe they do!!!! Don't let any body tell u differently then how you feel know!!!

I have kind of a weird take on this subject, but here goes.

I think that each and every animal is represented by a master soul. You have the cat soul, the dog soul, the cow soul, the wolf soul, the bat soul, etc. Each animal doesn't have an individual soul until a human steps in. When an animal is truly loved by a human, the human's love is enough for the animal in question to separate from the master soul to form its own soul. Tigger no longer is just a generic cat. Tigger has his own soul now, through the power of human love. I think that's why pets develop such distinct personalities.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

yes, cats n dogs *definently* have souls. they really do go to heaven, n they're waiting for us when we get there. i think that God would be really sadistic if He let us get so attached to our animal companions down here on Earth, and didn't let us stay w/them when we reach Heaven. i believe all animals have souls, and that they all go to Heaven when they die. Wonderful Question!!!

I 100% agree with you, because both cats and dogs are animal and animal and human like us are both create by our GOD almighty that have soul. And when we are died we go to heaven when are god father lived.

Yes, I love animals. They have their own personalities and I think they have souls as well. You can see it in their eyes.
