I am sick of picking up after you ***holes . seriously DO NOT shop @ Kmart if your going not pick up after yourself !!

I always pick up things I drop and I put my clothes back when I'm done using the dressing rooms. I guess some people are lazy and don't think manners matter anymore. Oh, what is the world coming to?

I have no idea!!! I work at a very upscale retailer, and the people there do it, too. They will go into a fitting room and try on $3000 worth of clothing, and leave it lying in the floor!!! I also worked in a bridal salon where people left very expensive bridal gowns on the floor of their fitting room and walked all over them. When I asked them politely to give the gowns to me to hang up because they were for sale and not just try-ons, they demanded that I be fired! Needless to say, I wasn't, but the nerve of them!!
People just don't care how they treat you anymore. They think that because you work retail that you are some high school drop-out who is beneath them. In reality you are a college graduate in your first job, a manager of the store, or a college or high school student just trying to work and make ends meet just like everyone else.
I'm so sick of it!!!! Thanks for asking this question so I could vent a little bit. I will sleep much better tonight!
Oh, yeah, they're the dumba**es, because they are so stupid they can't even pick out their own clothes. "I need something to go with my black pants!!!" What the hell kind of question is that?

I totally feel your pain! I have never worked retail but it bugs the fire out of me when people can't pick up after themselves! One thing: they were not raised properly! Just do your part and remember that that's one of the reasons why Kmart gives you a pay check.
Don't worry, if I shop at Kmart, I'll pick up after somebody just for you!

Maybe you should be upset with yourself for not having the right skills, or make the right or wrong decisions, depending on how you look at them, in life.
why do people think it's OK to go onto a website like YaHoo!, and leave ignorant questions on YaHoo! answers?

i dont know if they think it's OK, but the minimal polite thing to do in a place like that, is that if you drop some piece of clothing, at least pick it up, and leave it when it was initially...
its all about home raising and cultural education....
have some manners please!

i *used* to work retail and i know what you mean, but we know to "zone" our area so its just a given that people are going to knock things off the rack and dont give a dang to pick it up...heck, ive even done it....but thats why i dont work retail anymore, cant stand cleaning up after messy people!

Hey girl, it keeps you employed, so be grateful to us messy shoppers. Less for you to do means less work all around means less need for K-mart to hire people means less jobs means you're unemployed. 'Nuf said.
