how about using cream colored roses and then just added greenery, it will make the cream stand out, but wont clash with your navy and gold.

First things first. When is the wedding? Ask the florist what flowers will be in season. In season flowers aren't as expensive as out of season flowers. For example. Daffodils and tulips are early to mid spring flowers and are in abundance then. The cost of those go up drastically if you are having a fall wedding. Roses are flowers that can be found year round. I would go for a cream colored rose. It will blend well with navy and gold. And if you want to add a little more color add with mums (they come in a variety of colors and is a perfect fall flower). Or bachelor buttons. Or chrysanthemum. The last site offers information about the meaning of commonly chosen flowers for weddings.

I think it depends on the look you are going for. Both navy and gold are almost neutrals, so they'll look good with anything. If you want something cute, yellow flowers like tulips or daffodils would look nice. Elegant, you could go for calla lilies in white, yellow and wine colors. Or you could always go with roses.
Another way to think about it is by season. In spring, there are a lot of pastel colored flowers blooming (like lighter blues and yellows), in summer they tend to be brighter (purples, pinks and reds) and in fall there are a lot of deep, rich colors (burgundy, chocolate browns, dark oranges) - all of which will be really nice with your color scheme.
I think that almost any flower in white will look nice and will not take away from your color scheme, but also...almost any color will really compliment it too - and even though there aren't a lot of navy blue flowers you can tie anything up with a navy or gold ribbon. Good luck!

I would want to brighten things up a bit because navy is so dark.
Colours that go nicely with navy are deep pink and yellow (perhaps gerberers). Just make sure that the yellow looks ok with the gold.
You could also use deep pink tulips.
Stay away from pastels as they will all clash with your chosen colours.
Congratulations.

That sounds beautiful. Firstly you can have roses dyed any color you would like. But I personally think Cala Lillys match with anything and while they aren't gold, the white would be a neutral to those two very bold colors. Good luck.

depends on wether or not your using fake or real flowers. with a color like gold i would use fake since i dont kow many gold flowers. although i have seen fake roses that are gold and those with some dark blue violets and white little bell flowers(i dont remeber what theyre called) would look really reallly good.

I would use cream roses hand tied into a small close bunch and have navy and gold thin ribbons just loosely tied near where you hold them.
