of course youre going to get all the religious and anti abortion people in here calling it murder, but it should be legal. it is not murder, an abortion can only be preformed in the early stages of pregnancy, while the fetus is hardly even there. no brain function, nothing like that.

Proven by the law and what science says are 2 different things. Science says its life, but law just can't prove it yet. Give it a few years and I guarantee they will prove it.. Most women have abortions about 8 or 9 weeks pregnant. When you are 6 weeks pregnant and go to the doc you can hear the baby's heartbeat on ultrasound, that's not life? WHATEVER!!

The only time I think it should be legal is for things the mother cannot help. Like rape, incestual or otherwise. I don't feel like it's right to make abortion legal for cases where a woman gets pregnant when she had sex and didn't use protection. She should have kept her legs closed. Whether it's her body or not, it should not be just her choice. What about the men that GOT her pregnant in the first place, alot of times they don't even know about it until the baby has already been aborted. These women are just selfish and need to grow up before they have sex.

Yes abortion should be banned. It's murder. Sometimes, at the beginning of an abortion, the baby will try to grab at the tools and move away from it. How can a mother kill their child???? It's murder. Why would a mother put their child in so much pain??? Even if a person became pregnant by incest or rape, the child could be given up for adoption. There's always another answer. Choose LIFE!!!!

Not entirely banned but reformed. I feel abortion should only be available if the mother's life is in danger. I know I have 2 children at home and if I became pregnant I would have it. However, if my doctor said I wouldn't live if I gave birth to this child, I would have to have an abortion. I couldn't let my kids grow up without a mother. That's the only reason I feel that abortion should be available.

I don't think so I had a friend that was raped about 3 years ago that resulted in her getting pregnant.She was standing at a bus stop comming home from work and he drag her in a alley with a knife to her throat.She did'nt have it but she had a hard time making her mind up becuz she kept saying it was a part of her and the baby did'nt have anything to do with it and on top of that she was told she could'nt have kids becuz of scar tissue or something on her tubes or ovaries.So I think in some cases it should be allowed.Now for the people who's having sex and just being careless hell no!They should have it.

Early trimester abortions simply are not destroying any cognizant life form. Is having a miscarraige at 7 weeks the same as losing your 3 year old? Absolutely not even in the same league.. AND, if you believe life occurs at conception, shouldnt you also be picketing fertility clinics who KEEP FROZEN BABIES IN FREEZERS!!! Or worse, dispose of them like garbage.

Personally, I do not feel it is my right to tell another what to do/how to live their lives. So I think it should be legal only because by keeping it legal, it can be regulated and monitored by the government and AMA. Making it illegal will put it into the back alleys with coat hangers and dirty instruments. Either way, it will equal "murder" as the pro-life people like to call it.

Abortion should never be banned, because it is a tool invented by God. There are two types of God. On is an all powerful all loving god. That god does not allow death during abortion. That God invented abortion and uses it in the form of miscarriage. He does not kill in miscarriage or abortion, he simply transfers the life to another fetus or protects it in his care. There is not death or murder.
The god of the pro life movement is a hateful god that does murder fetuses and doctors. Their god also bombs clinics and harasses women as done on this page. Those who support that god will be punished.

It is a sin for you to continue to tell people that Abortion is wrong. God calls for you to be put to death for falsely presuming to speak his name in support of the pro life movement. No where in the Bible does God say that abortion is murder. In fact God uses abortion through out the Bible to bring about his will.
I can explain abortion to any person able to understand. I cannot explain it to a Dog, Cat, or closed mind.
God is the inventor of abortion. Presumably God uses miscarriage as abortion to expel from a woman's body a fetus that he chooses not to bring to term. God does this service for all animals, not just humans. And God loves these animals and man when he chooses to abort their fetus. For man, God is capable of giving eternal life in exchange for any child, fetus or man that he takes. This is his eternal love for us.
God arranged things such that no man lives longer than 150 years, then his time is up and he is also offered eternal life. So God offers eternal spiritual life in exchange for death.
And God chooses which fetuses will be aborted. God has infinite power and can choose to eliminate the possibility of abortion and force the birth of any child he chooses. He does this with other animals and he states in the Bible that he is an all powerful God. He is that powerful.
If you abort a child that God wants to live, he can simply transfer that life to another person. It does not mean that you made a wrong choice or that God must live with that Choice. I don't think God would allow Christ’s next coming to be stopped by an abortion that he condones.
Can a person commit an abortion against God's will? Yes. And it would be sin committed under our Free Will.
Evidence shows that many miscarried fetuses are malformed. And others are perfect. So we know that God does not use simply malformation as the basis for abortion. God must use other information. For example, God may know that a person is simply not ready for a child. Or the person may not be able to support a child. Or the child may have been born out of wedlock. Or that another person should raise the soul that he has placed in one person. And there are thousands of other reasons that God may have chosen abortion or miscarriage. One thing is certain; God did not choose "life". Some of us will die before birth and for none of us will live after 150 years of living.
What God teaches through abortion is that there are reasons for man to have abortion. And in the long run God teaches that these reasons make the world a better place.
I believe that a person should pray to God if there is any chance that an abortion is needed for any of the reasons above, or no reason. If God says that it is right, then it cannot be wrong. And anyone that says otherwise is going against God's will. Simply ask yourself if all humans that were ever born were still here today, would the Earth be a better place. I think not. Death is a part of God's plan and it makes his Kingdom a better place; as does eternal life for those who have served God’s purpose.
I hope that you are able to understand the need and purpose of abortion and will not fall into the beliefs of the false prophets that preach the Pro-Life anti God line.
