Truthfully the answer does not apply to you since you arent a Christian? Your looking at the old testament. Most likely the porn your looking at the woman is married to some guy which is committing adultury right there. The fact is that if you lust on any one. It is considered a sin, not adultury just a sin. It is the tempation and desire that makes it a sin.

to committ adultry is to have sexual relations or to look upon someone with lust OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE. That means if you are not married or if you are married and you are looking at a woman besides your wife, then it is adultery. But to look with lust upon a woman is as though you have had sex with her already in your heart. If you are not married to this person, it is considered adultery.
Stop trying to change the word of God to justify your sin. That is called blasphemy which is another sin on top of committing adultery.

Well, I see you're just trying to do all you can to justify it... but you can't. You are either gonna make the right choice (no porn) or willfully commit a sin.
Keep reading the Word, you will find things on porn for married or unmarried, and you will find things on fornication (unmarried).
"For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication"
1 Thessalonians 4:3

there is no sin worse than another, HUMANS place ranks on sin, not God. So when someone commits adultery, they may as well have killed someone. there is no sin greater than another. it says in the Bible to abstain from sexual immorality, and porn, is immoral. as is pre-marital sex, as is, extra marital sex. those are christian beliefs. it also says in the Bible that 'to look on a woman lustfully, you have committed adultery with her in your HEART'...meaning, that you dont have to be married for that to apply. youve done it, end of story. so in short, yes watching porn is a sin.

I am a God fearing, devout Christian. Before I was saved, I lived on alcohol and porn. No, watching porn isn't approved of by God.
He said in the commandments, you shall place no other Gods before me. Now another God doesn't necessarily mean graven images, idols, or whatever. It can be anything, Greed, Lust, Porn,Tobacco, Strong Drink, anything you put before God becomes your false God. And, you can commit adultery whether you are married or not.

If looking lustfully at a woman is adulterous in marriage then looking at a woman lustfully when your not married is the same thing as sex before marriage so yes it is a sin. I reccomend reading 'Every young man's battle' or 'Every mans battle'. Both deal with pornography.

What you said is taken from the Book of Matthew in the New Testament. Our Lord Jesus was expounding on the true standards of the law and to show to the pharisees that the standard of the law is so high that none of them can keep it. It's only when men realized that they cannot keep God's law and thereby earn God's blessings that they come to the end of themselves and see the need for a Messiah (Savior) and God in His grace and mercy has provided this Messiah in Christ Jesus, who kept all the law and He who knew no sin, to die for us on the cross so that we received His righteousness and He received all our sins to be punished by God on the cross. So that today, as far as God is concerned, we are forever righteous. It is as if we have kept all the laws.
This is why in Romans (or another place), Apostle Paul said that all things are permissible but not all things are beneficial. So today if you have accepted the Lord as your Savior and believed that He took all your sins on the cross and was punished by God, as far as God is concern, it's no longer on what you do or do not do.
Watching porn is not good, not because God will be angry with you or it makes you unholy before God. We have Christ's imputed righteousness. Watching porn is not good because we believers are called to a higher life, called to reign on this world. I mean why watch others making love when you can make love to your own spouse and enjoy it yourself? If you do not have a spouse yet, be patient. You will not lose out. If by watching porn tempts you so much to dis-illusion you that you are missing out on life here on earth or that you are under a great bondage, then my advice is that this is not beneficial for you. There are a lot of things in life that can satisfy you or keep you occupied in life.
Have a good day. God Bless.

hmmm.. did you read what I have read? Where does it say that you have to be married to commit adultery?
Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
This says WHOSOEVER.. does not say only married people or only men.

Try looking at a different translation of the verse you're quoting here (Matthew 5:28). . ."But I tell you that if anyone looks at a woman and wants to sin sexually with her, in his mind he has already done that sin with the woman". . .So you have to ask yourself what's going through your mind when you watch porn. I think your conscience has already answered this question for you. You know it's bad.

Jesus said if you look at a woman in lust you have already sinned. That includes fornication and adultery. I'm not judging you, just giving a technical answer.
