It started with some friends of mine getting together and disscussing the issues of the day, politics, art, music, and life bringing together opposing viewpoints and debating until we found the long lost middle ground. What do you think

Sorry here is the idea for the party's formation
want a party consisting of both Liberals and Conservitives of both the Pro-Life and the Pro-Choice I want it to consist of people who are willing to listen to come up with policy that would appease both sides of an issue. I think that this would work best starting at a local level before spreading hopefully one day to the nation. I also think that It needs to be careful not to develop the stigmas of some of the other third parties who tend to seem either like Bleeding Heart hippies or Racist KKK member rednecks thats why third parties have failed so much in this country
Thank you for answering
Ron

Organization for the Dispensing of the Differentiating and the Universal X-Factors

As an organization ODDUX will be devoted to bringing together the American citizen from all walks of life in order to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and knowledge to form a political the country has not seen since we were little more than a groups budding idea. We need to take the country back, we need to listen to each other and form comprises.
For to long we the common men and women of this country have been under the thumb of the exceedingly wealthy and powerful What started as by the people for the people has become by the people for the elite, who no longer have real discussion with their constituents.

Think about the last time there was an election did you Congressman come to your hometown and give a speech at the park like they used to do and take questions from the audience {not the press}. My dream is to have a candidate who keeps to his roots, who is willing to reach out to the blue collar man to address our needs, one who can rekindle the fire of liberty in our hearts to bring the government back to the people.

Imagine this, instead of listening to a county forum for a commissioner’s race where the candidate TELLS you how things will run if elected why not a commission of citizens from every tax bracket in a certain area spanning all age groups from 18 up, the only education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent all major issues of the day identified and opposing view points would also sit together on this commission. The logger with the environmentalist and so on. This commission will form before an election or even a candidate is selected and reach and draft a resolution on the issues as to where the party stands and put it to a vote of party members in a primary type public vote. Then a candidate most closely representing the wishes of the people is selected.

I AM running for pres in '08! and I like the way your think, although I do not agree with all of your stances (BID SURPRISE! I am the ONLY one who agrees with me all the time, or at least 98% of the time, lol), I feel that you should keep in mind that there are som positions that cannot reconcile with the opposing view!
They can, however, get together on what they DO agree upon and let the rest fall to the wayside (or can they?)

Well no, I do not think that they can!

pro illegal immigration and anti-crime will never, CAN NEVER come to grips with the opposing view, and ONLY one WILL prevail!
Same with abortion. I hat the idea of abortion and I want the laws to change, but I realize that the laws must change legally!
For this reason, I want to be president!
Not as a game of Wow! wouldn't that be cool if I was president, but for real. With a real appreciation of the enormity of the task that awaits me, if elected!

Will I make mistakes? YES (who doesn't?).
Will I own up to them? YES (I am not a politician!)
Will I help the country?
WITHOUT A SINGLE DOUBT!!!

The 'Republicrats' have paralyzed our political system and have a stranglehold on the voting process in America. If you have any idea of a new political party (which you didn't share with us), I'd say kick things up a notch and try to establish it so that you're ready to go in 2008!
If you've found the "long lost middle ground", go for it!

politics in the usa at least has nothing to do with agreement or what the people actually want. imagine this. there is much money to be had. the businesses that stand to make the most money use lobbyists to control the government and the media to tell the people what to think and what to be upset about.
