You do not need to go to a Psychiatrist for Borderline Personality Disorder, if you took testing. You would be wasting your time and money, I think.
You may choose to get a second opinion from a diagnostic psychiatrist, but a psychologist is capable of diagnosing a character disorder (borderline personality disorder being one).
For info on personality disorders, go to : http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/ency/personality_disorders.jsp Borderline will be explained. Good Luck !
