I know what you mean. I'm mortified at the bad grammar I see on here everyday and hear at work too. The sad thing is so many people think THEY'RE cool with THEIR "relaxed" attitude about grammar, but they don't realize what a lack of class and sophistication it demonstrates.

(They also don't seem to see that "irregardless" is not a word or that "I could care less" doesn't mean what they're trying to say!)

I know what you are saying. When I first started doing this, it drove me crazy. I've just decided to attribute it to people not taking the time to check their writings because they want to answer as many questions as they can to get points.

It still drives me nuts at work. As far as school, I have taught K-7 and constantly correct and teach these skills. It doesn't seem to matter. My son's response is: "Did you understand what I meant? Then it doesn't matter."

These are the effects of the worst public school system in the modern, industrialized world.

These are also problems; our/are, two/to/too.
