It was a great movie! It really started a dialog on God and how the church and televangelists can be easily corrupted through pride and greed. More Christians should see this film.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about them. I saw them, never from the beginning, just flipping thru the channels with someone else. They weren't movies that I would have chosen to watch myself. I know that God has a sense of humor, and I don't really think they represented Him in a awful way.
I guess I struggle with this: I know how Holy He is! I know how powerful He is! I know His character, he is wise, compassionate, the Healer, etc. And I know reverence for Him, and this is what was lacking in the movie. All the other characteristics were there, but no reverence, and this bothers me. God is not like us, His Holiness sets Him apart.

If it were blasphemous to act like God, The Passion of The Christ would have been blasphemous, which I dont believe it was. I believe that movie was biblical and showed a true story the best to their ability

"Oh God" is not biblical. I think it is blasphemous if it dosent line up with Gods word.

I think they were hilarious and very well done. I'm sure that God had a good laugh over them. God created humour you know! ;)

Have you watched them? They are funny, and do fall in line with Gods word, if you look at it from that PoV.

So, no, I don't think there was anything wrong with them.

I thought they were cute.
But then, I thought Bruce Almighty was cute, too.
I wonder why so many of my Christian brothers and sisters get frustrated with me?
