I am concerned about the comments than the questuion itself.
People don't know and don't even try to know what is islam and its teachings?
What is the connection of islam with other religions like christianity and jewism?
This is very easy to say something about anything. I can say a lot against christianity or jewism but I don't, you know why?
because islam stops me to say anything wrong to other religion and its believers.
THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE COMPARASION.
Christians don't believe in Jesus (peace be upon him) and defend his teaching as muslims do. muslims love Jesus and Mosus more than christisans and Jews.
When muslims talk about islam, they talk about Jesus, Mosus, Isac, joseph, jacob, Abraham, Adam and all other messngers of Allah the Almighty (May peace be upon them all) unlike christianity who believes in Jesus (peace be upon him) but defy Mosus and Muhammad (peace be upon them all) and Jews who claim love with Mosus but don't pay respect to Jesus and Muahmmad (peace be upon them all).

People fear what they don't know, and most people that are quick to put down Islam know nothing about it.
You never heard that much about Islam before 9/11. People may not have agreed with it, but that seemed common because not everybody agrees on one certain religion. But people can't just say that there were nineteen hijackers on September 11th, they have to say there were 19 Muslims, or 19 Islams. If 9/11 would have been carried out by 19 men who all happened to be Baptist, you wouldn't be reading headlines that says "Nineteen Baptist behind Terrorist Attacks".
There are so many people that claim to be followers of Christ and the Bible, yet they always seem to be the first to criticize the Islam religion. How do they figure that is very God like? Doesn't it say in the Bible we're not supposed to judge?
I believe in God and Jesus Christ, and there are a lot of things about the Islam religion that I don't understand, and stuff that I don't necessarily agree with, but I also find myself having those same feelings and thoughts over many religions.
I refuse to allow fear to cloud my good sense with ignorance. There are bad people in every religion and in every part of the world.

Islam is a violent religion, it was started by a twisted man and it is responsible for the deaths of countless innocents. and yes i have researched Islam, i've read part of the Koran, and i've read commentaries on it. the reason that Islam is a violent religion is simple. If you convert from Islam you are supposed to be killed (that's straight out of the Koran,) muslims are supposed to take over the whole world and they're supposed to kill anyone that doesn't convert to their religion. people try to say that the muslim religion is loving, and if it is then why are the most wanted terrorists in the world muslims? because they're religion justifies their hatred for Israel and Christianity. so Islam is a very bad religion.
p.s. if you want to discuss this further i.m. me

I don't mean to bash, but there is a force that directs all attention away from those that are peace loving in the Islamic religion.
I think that you might know that those in the US will immediately react to someone in the ritual or traditional garb that shows itself to have roots associated with Islam.
In general, we are a very forgiving people. But as long as there are the extremists dictating headlines and killing our people, and blowing up our places, and threatening our lifestyle- it would be good to keep you intentions peaceful, and movements slow, your voices respectful and low key.
We realize that some extremists might want to appear that way and try to kill us. But if you are truly peaceful, then all is well until Jesus comes and you find out that Islam is wrong about just about everything.
I wish you peace, but only if you are peaceful.

Yes. Research has been done about Islam. Not here to bash Islam. Jesus, not Mohammad, loves them and wants them to come to Him.

Most of them only listen to the words of others. The listen to the media, their preacher, and others who have their same point of view.
If they was to do real research they would find we are all over the world and very peaceful. Tonight I shocked a man I work with because I told him I was Muslim.
The people in the Middle East are people that are violent who just happen to be Muslim. The same as Timothy McVeigh was a terrorist who happened to be Christian

Read " Islam Revealed " by Dr Annis Shorrosh. Then you will understand Islam. He was born and raised in Palestine. He lived it. He should know.

All religion is violent.
Islam just happens to have fundamentalists that love to kill and love the attention.
If you wish to save the image of your religion, consider stopping the Islamic fundamentalists from killing innocent people.

hmmm... let me look at the news... Islamic extremists.. bombings.. yep.. still there
hmmm... ok.. ignore the extremists.. Iraq... suicide bombers.. incouraged by their families to kill others with suicide bombs...so they will go to heaven... it seems pretty much an Islamic religious practice to me.
