Well, it all depends on witch part of Canada you are going. I was at the Niagra Falls (Canada) You shouldn't miss the SkyWay Tower it is owsome! And you should defenetly go to Toronto. It might take a 2 hour drive but it is worth it.

Then you go to TravlersInformation there will be maps and a lot of places to visit.

You should defenetly go on a boatride when you are in Niagara Falls. You'll get soaked. They give you raincoats.

You should defenetly go there on Fall, Spring or Summer. But summer isn't the best I visited Canada for 6 days (June 28,2006-July 4,2006) There were alot of people who wanted to see Niagara Falls.

Then, You should defenetly go on the American view and through america to the Moon Island. At moon island there will be ... I forgot how it's called but... there will be an investigation down to the waterfall. There you'll get a yellow rain coat.

Well, see what you like.

What time of year you should go depends on what you want to do.

Summer: Just about anywhere would be nice--Montreal is the best city, with great festivals, Ontario has Great Lakes (Superior is too cold to swim in (good for fishing), and Erie might be too polluted; Huron and Ontario are nice--you could camp there, or stay in Toronto (Lake Ontario)); Vancouver Island is also nice for camping, or anywhere in Atlantic Canada

Fall: Anywhere with deciduous forests--Quebec north of Montreal (Mt. Tremblant area) is gorgeous. Probably Northern Ontario as well. Or if you like hunting, Alberta or again Northern Ontario.

Winter: not an attractive option unless you ski (British Columbia or Alberta--Quebec is okay but for more of a party/skiing combo) or snowmobile (anywhere, especially the prairies I would guess) or dogsled (no suggestions)

Spring: is a bit ugly in Canada, with all the snow melting. Vancouver and that area gets the least snow, so it might be okay.

If your flying from Europe visit website flyzoom.com, from the U.S., AirCanada.com and same for Asia. You can't visit Canada for less than one month and see everything. For a quick tour start in Toronto, Niagara Falls is one hour drive from the airport, Ottawa is four, Montreal is six, Quebec city is a seven hour drive cutting through New York. If you land in the Maritimes, rent a car and have a camera with you constantly. If you visit out west, then absolutly try the Banff- Whistler train ride for what is argues as the most scenic train ride in the world. Too much, too little time.

Your name suggests you're already in Canada, but I'll play along. Montreal is a beautiful city with gardens and McGill Univ. It's been a long time since I've been there, but on top of a hill was a museum that used to be a monastery, I believe. That was very interesting. Unless you love snow and ice, don't go there in the winter.

Ottowa is one of my favorite places. Seeing the Parliament bldgs. is very interesting and informative. I like it in the autumn.
