Also, before taking the course, make sure you call your insurance company and see if it will even help.
If you're under 25, or over 55, it will help here. If you're anywhere inbetween, it does no good to take it. But that's just here. It may be different everywhere else.

Whether you decide to take an online course such as Driving University or a normal classroom traffic school, be sure to check with your court to make sure they'll accept it for point reduction or ticket dismissal.
I live in Oregon and they are pretty decent as long as you are polite to them

You should be able to take traffic school online to avoid points on your liscense and rate increases. Call the number on the back of the ticket and they can answer your questions regarding setting it up.
