Not a chance. First of all, the tooth next to the wisdom tooth you are referring to is called a second molar....and those have THREE roots on them. Lower ones in particular have roots that like to spread apart, and breaking of roots is very common, even for those of us in the dental field with the correct instruments and facilities to do the surgery. Plus, if the tooth is bothering you, there is a good chance the tooth is absessed or non-vital already, which means the tooth is BRITTLE. Even if you get it professionally done, there is a good chance the dentist might break it and have to dig out the roots because the tooth structure itself is so poor.
You won't get gangrene like one poster said, but you do risk getting a horrendus infection, which could lead to osteomyelytis, which can PERMANANTLY DISFIGURE YOUR FACE FOREVER. It isn't worth the risk, or the pain. If funds are such a problem, try to at least get in at your local dental college to have it done at low cost or no cost. You may get a student this way, who is just learning, but they are always supervised by actual licensed dentists, and you will not walk out of there with broken root tips no matter how difficult the surgery.
Don't ever risk doing a dental extraction yourself....ever!

Not the best idea I've heard today. You will need anesthetic. Whiskey doesn't work.
You could also have an emergency in the way of a severe bleeding problem when the tooth is removed. The dentist or oral surgeon is equipped to deal with that, unlike you.

no. I wouldn't reccomend it either. If you use pliers you will just break your tooth off at the gumline and the roots will abscess and it will hurt more than you can imagine. Go to a dentist. If you cannot afford it try a dental school in your area.

I wouldn't do it myself.....But if I knew someone that did I'd say wash out with listerine, pull it w/ pliers. put gauze in the cavity, wait for bleeding to settle down. 24 hrs later rinse with salt water.
Or just have a friend, or enemy punch you really hard in the face (the aprx. area of affected tooth).
oh & can I watch?
