13-17 for kid dates( movies and dances )18-25 for serious dates(to find a life mate)26-40 for mature dates(cause you need to get laid )40-50 awkward dates( back in the game dates after a divorce or a death of a spouse)50+ is just cute.hope this helps.

I say if your in high school, your old enough to date. I think junior high is the time to do like group dates and learn to be responsible and mature about the whole situation, and also be able to have friends there incase they are taken back by something or even someone. By high school they should be totally ready to do the whole date thing on their own.
