I am not sure if this is help you. To lose a pound of fat it is 3,500 calories that needs to be burned. So if you burn 1750 a week in exercise you need to cut out 1750 in your diet.

The FDA states that the average person should only consume 2000 calories a day. If you are consuming more than that I would start by lowering your intake to the corret level. You will loose weight. I'd say 1500 a day would be good for you if you really really want to loose weight though. Drink lots of water too.

Firstly, you do not need to lose more than 10lb. I'd recommend eating 1200-1500 calories per day and exercising 2-3 hours per week and you will lose 10lb in about one month. HTH.
