Jesus said they are not god's chosen people

you can not take a literal statement out of context. If I am a nazi then so is Jesus because I am quoting him and it seems to fit the situation.

America's war on terror is is different and sperate from these diabolical and heinous acts of Israel. America was not illegally occupying a foreign country when we were attacked.

you can not take someone literal statement out of context. for instance, the sky is blue. I never said it was red, blue or green , i said it was blue, now try to take that out of context.

Jews are the chosen people of God.

I think you need to get your facts right.

And Israel has every right to defend itself from terrorists.

Those that Jesus was talking to and about were the Priest of his time. They claim to be God's chosen but their actions were just the opposite.

The Jews are still the chosen and the promise given to them by God hasn't changed. Jesus said the their were other sheep that must come in to the fold. Adopted in to the family, receiving all the same rights as a family member. Those who believe by faith in Jesus, so one could even make the claim as a Christian, a Jew also.

These things that are going on there are foretold, and are but birthing pains of things yet to come. It will get much worse before, well I won't go any farther. Still much worse is coming.

WOW! Take that out of context. YIKES...do you have your Nazi memorabilia up too?

It is clear to me that you have not done any biblical research behind this statement from the book of Revelation. It has to do with the religious protection given to Jews by the Roman government. The Jews were the ONLY religion spared from Emperor worship and so often people would 'pretend' to be Jewish to get dispensation from that. THAT is what John is writing about in that segment................

You can't take a literal statement out of context? Of course you can---and obviously you can warp it into something that clearly, when in context, means something entirely different. Educate yourself before espousing such drivel.....

Hey idiot, read it in context and then tell me from a logical standpoint how you came to the conclusion you came to!

9 I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know the slander of those **who say they are Jews and are not**, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.

It is a very tragic situation. I think Iran is starting this to take attention away from their nuclear ambitions. It is well known that Hezbullah is funded and politically supported by both Syria and Iran. Iran's fanatical president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the new Adolf Hitler. He has repeatedly called for Israel's destruction. People need to understand that we need to fight this kind of horrific radicalism because if we don't, we will end up in Israel's position. THE UNITED STATES IS THE REAL TARGET of these fanatics, Israel is just a proxy for the United States. I love Israel and believe that she should defend herself against this brutality. We as Americans should understand we are next because THESE FANATICS CONSIDER US TO BE THE GREAT SATAN. These people are psychotic, irrational, and, obviously, enormously dangerous. HAMAS, HEZBULLAH, AND AL QAEDA MUST BE STOPPED. There is no other way. If we don't kill them first, they will kill us. They will come after us no matter what it takes and THEY ARE DETERMINED TO DESTROY US ALL. These fanatics must be destroyed for the sake of all of us who BELIEVE IN LIVING IN FREEDOM.

well. first off, jesus didn't say that, fat jerry falwell did. next,on a semi mature note, the agendas and plots in the middle east are getting difficult to follow, perhaps part of the overall plan. it would seem though that syria and iran are definitely in the cross -hairs. just hope it's not a nuclear (or as fundamentalists pronounce it new-q-lar) war.

I don't care about your religious interpretations of current event, but why do you think their response to kidnapping and invasion of sovereign soil is unexpected?

Wouldn't your country do the EXACT same thing if terrorists entered your nation and killed and kidnapped your soldiers?
