Actually I care but feel this was none of my business anyway. It wasn't like he was cheating or anything. Maybe I don't need to know everything about his life. He didn't tell me his sons have been moved out of his house now for over two years.

I just found out about a secret my boyfriend kept from me for 5 years and the relationship did not survive. Deception is a difficult thing to overcome. When you know someone is secretive, it is almost impossible to trust them. But also, the fact that they kept it a secret shows that they don't trust you. Usually it indicates that they don't trust themselves and so they lie to protect the secret that they fear will expose the truth about themselves.

Probably, this "secret" is a small one.

Get used to this, if you just "roll over" You are "training" your partner right now-are you cool with someone who lies?

This will get REALLY old as the "secrets" get bigger and bigger...

Because you felt that..already but didnt really come forward with it. so you were ready for it, to happen. and it all depends what kind of secret it was.. i mean we all have little secrets.., It just all depends.
