my 2 week old pups have pleas bad how can i get rid of them

try bathing them in lemon dawn, it kills the fleas and the lemon sent keeps them away, or you could try putting cedar chips in their box, they help repel fleas. double check with your vet before bathing though

Do NOT use over the counter flea drops on the mom or the puppies, because it will be toxic to them at this age. Advantage brand flea drops can be put on the mom and is usually recommended by vets because it does not get absorbed into the bloodstream and cause toxicity. Apply it to the mom only, and the fleas will jump on her and die. You can use a flea comb to comb the fleas off the puppies, and put the combed off fleas in a bowl of soapy water to drown them.

you need to treat the mother and the puppies.....they are sooooo small but a little drop of some flea stuff wont hurt or a half a drop.....not to much but you have to rub it in and make sure if at all possible dont let the mother lick them....make sure you treat the mom as well or she will give the fleas right back to the puppies.....(i use to live on a farm and we had to do it to a litter of puppies....all 10 wer fine so dont be afraid to do it)

You had better talk to your Vet. I would NOT use frontline or bath them at 2 weeks. How ever could you let 2 week old babies get fleas!

I would get busy with flea combs and start picking! Get friends/family to help.

use the new vetenary flea removal product that you put on the nape of the mothers neck so its not in direct contact with the puppies. when they suckle it comes through the milk and kills fleas. hope this helps.
