It's just a tactic of extremist politicos to question the other side's patriotism and call them traitors when they can't argue facts. Both sides are guilty of shitslinging, but the whole "you america-hating libs" bullsh!t is totally unnecessary.

first off your approach to this question, is pretty disgraceful for one who claims to be a veteran, especially one who only served 7 years, and probably never during war time. and secondly republicans don't call democrats traitors, if anyone is getting called traitors it's the people who constantly speak out against the country, whether the dems like it or not, bush was elected president TWICE, we are at war, whether we should have gone to war or not is a moot point now, we are at war, so EVERYONE should shut up about how wrong the war is and let the troops fight it...btw the dems that MIGHT be getting called traitors are not ones who currently serve in the military, you however are just looking for a fight, so if you want to fight so badly, re-enlist and go fight the REAL enemy, otherwise shut up sit back, and let the REAL men do the fighting.

Huh? i'm a republican and that i have not suggested democrats were traitors. careful with the stereotyping. with the help of how, the asking of this question replaced into purely to fireplace up peoples thoughts and reason a large debate which in the lengthy run is unnecessary and ignorant!!! i imagine there's a conflict happening, if we adore it or not would not extremely count number!!! i'd wager all real people help the troops, they'd or ought to not help the conflict which in the lengthy run would not extremely count number, yet all that concerns is that the boys that are over there know that their fellow people help them one hundred % and are not causeing complications over the following even as they are over there! strengthen Up!

The Democratic Party's stance on national security is weak. Need I remind you of the embassy bombings in Africa, the marine barrack bombings in Saudi Arabia, the Somalia incident, the bombing of the USS Cole! This was all under Clinton's watch. Granted things like these may not always be avoided. I just expect an overwhelming response to those who threaten our national security and interests. A few cruise missiles is not an appropriate response. Failing to protect your own, sound almost like betrayal to the trust of the people.
I also served in OIF(just in case.)

The Republicans are referring to the Democrats in CONGRESS, who are trying to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan - which the GOP sees as unfinished business, and the Dems see as places where we never should have gone in the first place.
