Of course like finger prints, each person has a rather unique navel; a.k.a. "belly button." Probably you know that it is the healed tissue that derives from the remnants of the fetal umbilical cord. It depends on how the unbilical cord was cut when they were born. For some reason, I used to have an outy button until I was like 8 or 9 then it turned into an iny.

The knots tied in the umbilicus after birth take on different shapes. No doctor ties a knot the same way and sometimes the body itself can control the shape of the navel as the body grows.
