They're all covered, not just the ones who died after Him.

Personally I believe that Jesus died to make a statement about His faith in God and to prove that we too can believe in God, and that life is eternal, more so than for our supposed sins. I think sin is a human construct designed to control the masses through fear.

You hi the nail on the head .

Yessss !!!! It means all humans before Jesus were not saved etc . Can you imagine that this bullshit has been rammed down the throat of the churchgoers for the past 2000 years . Even Jesus died in pain and misery , how can you call him God ??

He was at the best a ordinary man compassionate man who knew about more about divinity than other in his era and as people consider persons of divine knowledge as DIVINE , they transformed him into son of GOD [ we all are children of GOD ]

But my friend there is money involved in making humans submissive in the religios process and so the falsehood has been perpetuated ad nauseum.

Try the true truth about the qualitites oF GOD his duties and our relationship with him . Anyone can meet God and the person need not be a christian / muslim etc who profess their religion is the best !!!!!!!!!!!

Dying for our sins was just one thing. The prophet wrote of him that the people who dwell in darkness have seen a great light. The world is a much brighter place since he has been here. Do you think the age of enlightenment would have happened without the life of Christ before?

The scripture says that after the crucifixion and before the ressurection, Christ visited those who had died before his coming. God sent his son in order to save ALL people, not just a few. Read Romans 8.

To Faith B.:

Christians do heed the Old Testament. Jesus' whole culture and the Law he taught was based on what he was taught from the Old Testament, without it, Jesus would not have been able to teach. None of the laws were changed. Jesus was just added to the whole equation as a new avenue to become a child of God.

All souls will be judged accordingly to the way each person lived their life. God was creator of the world and was Lord even before he sent his son to this world in the flesh. Judgment day is for all souls not just those living after Christ came.

I think...........

When Jesus died, this is when the New Testament Law came into effect.
Before 2000 years ago, under Old testament Law, Christ had not died for our sins and people were judged on what kind of life they had lived, good or bad in God's eyes.

Before Jesus Christ, salvation came through
the blood of lambs which were sacrificed to
cover sin.
Hence, Jesus was called "The Lamb Of God"
by latter day saints.

Footnote: It needs to understood, that in today's
world, we now know that we originate
from a genetic point in a field of quantum
energy.
When we die, we return to that point.
We are a constant.
It's the time and space that comes
and goes.

In the Greek Orthodox Christian view, Jesus, after dying, went into Sheol and preached the Kingdom to those who had lived righteous lives (i.e. Abraham, Moses, David, etc.) So they got the same opportunity as those who lived after the Resurrection of Christ. This is how you will be able to see people like Moses (yes he sinned) in Heaven
