No But i do think schools should teach their students better grammer and spelling!
repeat after me: Are schools supposed to give their students uniforms? The 'do' is incorrect and the 'or not' is redundant.
To answer your question schools choose to have school uniforms as it is a leveller. If you have someone in designer clothes and someone in charity shop clothes teasing and bullying can occur as can one up man ship where studnets vie to out do each other fashion wise and cost wise. If everyone is the same less of a problem (until mufti day)

I think they shouldn't make it mandatory for uniforms because being able to wear what clothes you want to wear is freedom of expression. Taking that away takes away the little rights of students that we have. (They don't even allow us to peacefull protest in school)

Some make it mandatory for uniforms because that eliminates students potentially making fun of someone for what they wear, or some students to wear expensive clothes making them "better" than everyone else which is a bunch of B.S. Some schools don't make it mandatory because they know it's a bunch of BS and they don't want to deal with parents and students enraged by uniforms.
